Encore Tickets CEO Joe Steele has spoken to audiences at Retail Week Live in London about how Encore utilises content, culture and technology to create market-leading online experiences for customers.
Speaking with Noel Penzer, VP EMEA at Fastly, the talk incorporated practical strategies and ideas about how businesses can evolve quicker and more effectively to the growing demand and expectation to deliver personalised and intuitive customer experiences.
Selling over 2 million tickets a year for the West End’s biggest shows and London’s attractions since it was founded, Encore Tickets has established itself as a frontrunner in differentiating themselves by mastering content, culture, and best-of-breed technology.
The talk was met positively, with the audience especially engaging on the topic of the speed it takes for Encore to mobilise a new product to market across its many channels and affiliates, and create wide awareness and incremental audiences, such as with the latest West End hit 9 to 5 the Musical at the Savoy Theatre.
Retail Week Live is held annually, bringing together over 200 world-class speakers from across retail and beyond to connect and find inspiration. This year, the event was held at Intercontinental London - The O2 and saw 1,500 people from more than 300 companies attend.
